Bendigo Aviation Services is located at Bendigo Airport, a regional airport outside controlled airspace which allows flight training with minimum delays both on the ground and in the air.   Because Bendigo is located north of the coastal ranges it has all year excellent flying conditions.   Bendigo has 24 airports within one hour flying time available for navigation and instrument approach training.   Bendigo Airport is located 5km from the centre of the city of Bendigo. The city has a population of 100,000 and is 150km by freeway from Melbourne.
